Thoth is an abstraction font based on Courier, a monospaced slab serif commissioned for typewriters in the mid-1950s. Whereas Courier exemplified the switch from handwriting to typing for streamlined efficiency, Thoth calls back to the visual language of the first recorded alphabets in human history.
